On the first day at Liverpool Worcestershire were bowled out for 266 off 91 overs, with Tom Fell top-scoring with 65 off 127 balls, with 6 fours, and there were also half-centuries from Tom Kohler-Cadmore (62 off 150 balls, with 6 fours and 1 six) and Michael Johnson (50 off 71 balls, with 9 fours).
Lancashire had to bat for 11 overs and at stumps were on 22-2, trailing by 244 runs, with David Lucas (1-9 off 6 overs) and Chris Russell (1-13 off 5 overs) in the wickets column for the visitors.
Lancashire were all out for 265 off 89.3 overs on the second day at Liverpool, with the wickets taken by Matt Pardoe (3-34 off 11.3 overs), Chris Russell (3-65 off 20 overs), Alex Hepburn (1-14 off 2 overs), David Lucas (1-35 off 19 overs), Charlie Morris (1-41 off 15 overs) and George Rhodes (1-67 off 21 overs).

On the third and final day at Liverpool Worcestershire collapsed on the final morning as they were bowled out for 152 off 57 overs, with Tom Fell top-scoring with 74 off 124 balls, with 7 fours.
Needing 154 runs to win Lancashire were in no mood to hang around as they reached their target off 35 overs to seal a 9 wicket win and go above Worcestershire at the top of the Championship table.
