Worcestershire travelled to the VOC in Rotterdam to play Netherlands in the Clydesdale Bank 40 match. It was set to be an interesting match with Netherlands on a run of good results in the competition and a chance for Alexei Kervezee to play against his international colleagues.

Persistent overnight rain and showers during the morning meant that the outfield was unplayable and there was no prospect of the match being played that day. The umpires abandoned the match shortly before 2pm with both sides taking one point each.
