DAY 1

Worcestershire ended the first day on 20-1 in reply to Gloucestershire's 255 all out at New Road.

The visitors won the toss and batted first, with Chris Dent (83) and Cameron Herring (52) scoring half-centuries in Gloucestershire's first innings score of 255 all out off 71.5 overs.

David Lucas was the top wicket-taker for Worcestershire, with 3-50 off 14 overs, with support from Nick Harrison (2-19 off 9 overs), Jack Shantry (2-30 off 15 overs), George Rhodes (1-22 off 8 overs), Charlie Morris (1-24 off 7 overs) and Darrel Williams (1-41 off 8.5 overs).

Worcestershire then had to bat for 16 overs and lost the wicket of Tom Fell for 4 as the home side reached 20-1 at the close, with Steve Leach unbeaten on 9 and nightwatchman Lucas unbeaten on 2.

DAY 2

Worcestershire ended the second day against Gloucestershire on 382-7 at New Road, a lead of 127 runs.

Steve Leach and David Lucas took Worcestershire's score to 105 when Lucas was out for 59 off 65 balls, with 11 fours, to end a second wicket partnership of 91. Then Leach was joined by Alexei Kervezee and they added 131 runs for the third wicket until Kervezee was out for 73 off 98 balls, with 5 fours and 1 six.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore was the fourth wicket to fall for 0, with the score on 245-4, before Leach went to his 100 off 292 balls, with 13 fours. Ben Cox (41), George Rhodes (17) and Richard Jones (12) were the other wickets to fall for Worcestershire as they ended the day on 382-7 off 119.4 overs, with Leach stubbornly unbeaten on 160 off 397 balls, with 21 fours and 1 six.

DAY 3

Worcestershire drew their friendly match against Gloucestershire at New Road.

Worcestershire batted on for an hour until they declared on 439-8 off 135 overs, with Steve Leach endng up on 178 off 427 balls, with 22 fours and 1 six.

Trailing by 184 runs Gloucestershire lost two wickets before lunch, both off Richard Jones (2-25 off 7 overs), and when Nick Harrison (2-47 off 11 overs) struck twice after lunch the visitors were 47-4. But Gloucestershire fought back thanks to Jack Taylor (107), Gareth Roderick (61) and Uzair Qureshi (50*) and when the players shook hands at 5pm the visitors were 252-6 off 62.2 overs.
