Worcestershire won their friendly t20 match against Shropshire by 13 runs at Shrewsbury.
Worcestershire won the toss and batted first and scored 123-8 off their 20 overs. James Cameron top-scored with 44 along with contributions from Moeen Ali (16), Ben Scott (14) and Alexei Kervezee (13) and among the Shropshire wicket-takers were both Worcestershire's Jack Shantry (2-26) and Joe Leach (2-16).
Shropshire, at one stage, were 62-1, with their captain Ed Foster, formerly of Worcestershire, making 31 but the home side were pegged back by the bowling of Daryl Mitchell (3-12), Brett D'Oliveira (2-10) and Ali (2-21) and along with David Lucas (3-33) Worcestershire bowled out Shropshire for 110 off 19.4 overs.
Worcestershire 2nd XI have won their 2nd XI t20 group, finishing on 9 points, with Glamorgan, Somerset and Gloucestershire on 8 points and Warwickshire bottom on 7 points.
The SEt20 Finals Day will be held at Arundel Castle on Saturday 30th June.
The draw has been made for the Finals Day, which is:
England U19 v Worcestershire – This will be the first match commencing at 10.30am.
Essex v Sussex – This will be the second match commencing at 1.45pm.
The Final will take place at 5.00pm.
