This summer is sure to be an excellent one for cricket. England and Australia will once again be competing for the Ashes on home soil, and Worcestershire CCC are working hard during the winter to greatly improve upon their 2012 campaign.

 

The season starts 10th April

Our 2013 season will start on Wednesday 10th April when Worcestershire CCC head to Old Trafford to take on Lancashire in the LV= County Championship.

 

With the ongoing ground redevelopment, our first home match at New Road will begin on Wednesday 8th May, the Club will face Leicestershire CCC in the LV= County Championship. Throughout the season, Worcestershire CCC will have lots of exciting encounters across the three domestic competitions.

 

Friends Life t20 action returns

Friends Life t20 returns to New Road on Friday 28th June. The high-octane competition will see Daryl Mitchell and the Worcestershire CCC team eager to reach FLt20 Finals Day for the first time since the competition's inception.

 

Worcestershire CCC v Australia

Ashes Fever will then arrive at New Road when Australia face Worcestershire CCC in a four-day practice match starting Tuesday 2nd July, prior to the first Ashes Test. Tickets to the Ashes Tests across the country have been selling fast, and this gives you the perfect opportunity to see the mighty Australia in action at one of the most picturesque cricket grounds in the world.

 

International cricket will return again on Thursday 15th August when the England Under 19's battle against Bangladesh Under 19's. Bangladesh A will then follow the youngsters on Friday 16th August with a match against Worcestershire CCC.
