50 Per Cent Increase In Xmas Party Goers At New Road

50 Per Cent Increase In Xmas Party Goers At New Road

Interest is booming in the traditional Worcestershire CCC Christmas parties held each year at New Road – and there are only a handful of dates remaining in November and December.

Already there is a 50 per cent increase in numbers with 2,500 party goers heading for either The View or the Graeme Hick Pavilion compared with 1,700 in 2013.

The only dates left in November are for the 21st, 22nd and 28th while in December just the 5th, 11th, 18th, 22nd and 23rd are still bookable.

The £35 a head tickets include a four course meal, crackers, novelties, a disco until midnight plus a visit from a very special guest!

Worcestershire business director Jon Graham said: "So far, we've got 2,500 people coming for the Christmas parties. Last year we had 1,700 people.

"Now is the time of the year where the panic comes if people haven't booked their party. December dates are scarce but November and January dates are still around.

"The parties went down really well last year. "If what we offer with these parties wasn't where it needed to be last year, we wouldn't have got the interest we had this year.

"That is a real thriving part of the business now. We've got a really vibrant Xmas party market now."
