There will be a Thanksgiving Service on Friday 27th January at Worcester Cathedral. The Cathedral will open at 1-30pm and the service itself will commence at 2-30pm. Those who wish to attend DO NOT require tickets.

A Thank You From The D’Oliveira Family

Following the passing of Basil D’Oliveira the family have been touched by the number of people who have sent condolences and messages of support. The overwhelming amount of letters and cards received has been greatly appreciated by the family however it is proving impossible to reply to everybody.

In memory of Basil D’Oliveira, the family have set up a Just Giving page where well-wishers can make donations towards Parkinson’s UK, a national charity whose aim is to find a cure and also improve the life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s. Donations are also being received by Stanfield Nursing Home in Worcester, where Basil D’Oliveira was cared for incredibly well during the last seven years of his life. All donations received by Stanfield Nursing Home will be used strictly for patient care.
