tickets have gone on sale today (tuesday) at 12 noon for the rapids eagerly awaited blast derby with birmingham bears at New Road on friday, july 19.
in addition fans of the rapids can also buy season passes for the blast encompassing all seven home games and which would make another superb festive gift.
the game with the bears will take place at New Road on friday july 19 (5.30pm start).
it will be the first chance to see the rapids in home action since they defeated sussex to win the blast for the first time at edgbaston in mid september.
the meeting with the bears at New Road is always a guaranteed sell-out.
but this is the chance to snap up tickets and also make someone else happy when santa pops down the chimney.
worcestershire ccc managing director jon graham said: “no-one will ever forget that day at edgbaston in september when the rapids confirmed just how formidable a side they have become.
“understandably, we have had a lot of enquiries already from excited supporters about when tickets for next summer’s blast will go on sale.
“as a result, we thought this was an ideal opportunity to make tickets available for the home game with the bears which is one of, if not the highlight, of every season.
“it will make an ideal christmas present but also give supporters a chance to buy tickets for themselves and guarantee their place on july 19.”
