The Worcestershire trio of spinners Shaaiq Choudhry, Brett D'Oliveira and England Under-19 all-rounder Ed Barnard have all signed new contracts with the County.
Choudhry and D'Oliveira have signed new one and two year deals respectively while Barnard has signed a further 12 month extension to his present contract until the end of the 2016 campaign.
It means that nine players – eight of them Academy products – have commited themselves to the County by either signing new contracts or extensions in the past three weeks.
Choudhry, D'Oliveira and Barnard have followed in the footsteps of Joe Leach, Chris Russell, Tom Fell, Ben Cox, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Joe Clarke.
Choudhry is currently in action in the LV= County Championship match with Derbyshire at Derby and has also played in the NatWest T20 Blast and Royal London One-Day Cup this season.
Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes said: "It is tough for Shaaiq because he has had to compete with Saeed Ajmal and then Moeen Ali.
"He is an all-rounder, has two strings to his bow, so he can fulfil a batting role as well.
"However he also has to make sure he maintains his spin bowling, which he is well aware of, and we hope he goes well."
D'Oliveira was part of the T20 Blast side which reached the Quarter-Finals and Rhodes commented;
"Brett is very much one for the future. He can bat, he can bowl, he can field. We are very excited by his talents.
"Leg-spin bowling is a difficult art and will take time (to develop). A lot of spinners come into their own later in life and he is the type of player we have to be patient with.
"He is now batting higher and higher in the second team and scoring runs and one of the ambitions I know of Brett is to try and put the first team batters under pressure and he is hoping to do that with weight of runs in the second team.
Barnard – along with Clarke – was part of the England Under-19 side in the winter World Cup and the recent Test and ODI Series with South Africa.
Rhodes said: "I'm really excited by both of them and we want them to have a fair crack of it and have a good apprenticeship at Worcestershire as we believe in them both.
"With Ed, he is an all-rounder. He is seen by England Under-19s at the moment as a batting all-rounder which is probably fair comment.
"But he has got some really good skills and as his body develops, I think you will find a genuine all-rounder there.”
