Copies Of Don Kenyon Book On Sale In Hick Pavilion On Sunday

Tim Jones will be selling copies of his new book 'Don Kenyon – His Own Man' in the Graeme Hick Pavilion at New Road on Sunday (November 8).

Tim, the chairman of the Worcestershire Heritage Society, will be available in the Graeme Hick Pavilion between 11am and 12 noon if anyone wishes to purchase a copy.

This is prior to Sunday lunches being sold in the Hick Pavilion on that date.

Kenyon skippered Worcestershire to their 1964 and 1965 County Championship triumphs and is the County's record run-scorer with 37,002 first class runs.

This excellent publication is priced £15 and gives an insight into Kenyon's life away from the cricket field as well as his sterling exploits on the pitch.

Copies can also be ordered from Tim by making cheques payable to T Jones (plus £2 postage) or are available from his home at 8 Edge Hill Drive, Perton, Wolverhampton, WV6, 7SW.

Tim, who is a Worcestershire Board member, can be contacted via his email timajones405@aol.com or via phone on 07890 138682.

If anyone wishes to purchase a Sunday Lunch, the price is £22.50 per head and consists of three courses plus coffee.
