Worcestershire again claimed maximum bowling points before losing three wickets in their battle to salvage a draw from the Specsavers County Championship clash with Nottinghamshire at Blackfinch Road.
Josh Tongue picked up two of the three Nottinghamshire wickets to fall this morning after they resumed on 204-6.
The County paceman ended a seventh wicket stand of 59 in eight overs between Tom Moores and Stuart Broad when the former on 43 tried to steer a delivery to third man and edged through to keeper Ben Cox.
Tongue also trapped Jake Ball lbw for a duck while in between Broad (38) tried to pull spinner Travis Head and top edged a skier which was pouched by Cox.
Nottinghamshire declared on 300-9 but not before Worcestershire had collected the three bowling points for the third game in a row.
Tongue ended with 4-81 and skipper Joe Leach 3-73.
Worcestershire began their second innings with 80 overs remaining in a game where the opening two days were washed out.
Ball dismissed Brett D’Oliveira (0) – caught low at third slip – and then bowled Daryl Mitchell (3) while Joe Clarke (4) edged Broad to keeper Tom Moores.
Tom Fell (12) and Head (nine) were unbeaten at lunch with the total 29-3 from 10 overs.
