Ben Cox and Charlie Morris are Worcestershire's leading run-scorer and wicket-taker respectively after the opening three matches in Division One of the LV = County Championship.

Cox has scored 166 runs including the second Championship century of his career in this week's innings victory over Somerset at New Road.

After scores of 9, 0 and 0 in his opening three innings, Cox started to find his touch with an unbeaten 48 against Sussex at Hove and carried on in the same vein against Somerset with a career best 109.

Morris also enjoyed a career best match return of 9-109 against Somerset after four and three wicket bursts in his initial new ball spells.

He worked successfully on minor but effective changes to his run-up after the Sussex game.

The encouraging factor is that the majority of the county's batsmen and bowlers have all scored runs and taken wickets at some stage in the three fixtures.
