Ben Cox finished top of the Worcestershire Rapids batting averages for the 2016 NatWest T20 Blast – and also had the best strike-rate of the front-line batsmen in the competition.
Wicket-keeper Cox has been used in the "finisher" role in the middle order by Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes and responded with 234 runs at an average of 58.50 and a strike rate of 156.00.
Brett D'Oliveira was the Rapids leading run-scorer in the competition as he continued the good form evident in the Specsavers County Championship.
The new England Lions player amassed 353 runs at an average of 35.30 and a 126.97 strike rate and finished just ahead of Tom Kohler-Cadmore (323).
On the bowling front Joe Leach was by far the Rapids most successful player with 20 wickets at 20.10 runs apiece.
Like D'Oliveira, he also transferred his red ball cricket performances into the short format of the game.
