Cricket Society Trip To Sussex-Hants Attracts Growing Interest

Interest continues to grow in Worcestershire Cricket Society's proposed three day trip to Sussex and Hampshire in early April ahead of the 2017 season.

Already 40 people have expressed an interest in making the trip which will involve a two night stop-over in the Portsmouth area and include visits to Hove, The Ageas Bowl and the New Forest.

Organiser Mike Hitchings also put together this year's successful two-day venture to Manchester incorporating a visit to Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

A 53 seater executive coach has been booked for the trip BUT anyone interested should let Mike know at the Society's monthly meeting on November 8 at New Road when the guest speaker is cricket author Stephen Chalke.

Any friends or guests of Society members will be welcome and deposits of £25 per person can be paid to Mike at the November meeting – or alternatively at the December meeting when the the exact dates and the cost of the trip will be confirmed.
