Worcestershire Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes gave his reaction to BBC Hereford-Worcester's Dave Bradley after the seven wicket win over Durham Jets in the Royal London One-Day Cup at the Emirates ICG.
Rhodes said: "I am delighted with the win. We were all amazed by the amount of overs we lost in the day to the weather. We thought we'd have a reduced game but we didn't think it would be down to 22 overs.
"We made the best of it. It was quite greasy when we were fielding but we bowled well and fielded well and we kept them to a total (90) that was low enough for us to get there because it was a difficult wicket.
"I thought Chris Rushworth bowled really well and Brett D'Oliveira and Alexei Kervezee played really well to see him off and then score the runs off the other bowlers.
"It was quite clever batting but a wonderful partnership towards the end to win the game for us.
"Alexei has come on leaps and bounds in his maturity now with the bat in chasing down scores but also Dolly plays a major role in getting those scores, just like Ben Cox did the other day.
"He seems to have a cool head. It was a very clever thing to see Rushy's overs out because he felt confident we could score off the other bowlers sos that was quite a mature thing to do.
"Bowling-wise, Jack (Shantry) and Joe (Leach) set off okay and really got them behind the rate of what they would like to be. They didn't seem to play the shots they wanted to play and then Barny (Ed Barnard) came on and bowled really well.
"Chris Russell and Dolly backed that up so it was a good all-round bowling display but also in the field we were quite aggressive and attacked the ball and, when the chances came, we took them."
Worcestershire have managed to triumph in their last two games despite the absence of skipper Daryl Mitchell and overseas players Matt Henry.
Rhodes said: "When you think of Mitch on the side-lines and Matt on the side-lines and no Tom Fell, for whom 50 over cricket is one of his best formats, it is a nice position that we are picking from a little bit bigger pool of players.
"It will be useful to us to give people a little break here and there to try and spread the games around for the whole season so that hopefully we are still firing in September."
Rushworth, who finished with 3-19 from five overs, admitted: "We fell a long way short. The game was reduced but to be bowled out for 90 in 22 overs is not good enough. It has to be better next time.
"It was good conditions to bowl in but you have to find a way to get through a tough spell and get runs on the board.
"We need to be able to build an innings through the middle. You have to consolidate sometimes, you can't play the big shots all the time, so things have to change next time.
"The guys have accepted something has to change, whether that's the way we approach or the way guys practice.
"Something has to change for Wednesday (against Nottinghamshire) because we're playing against a side that has put 400 on in the last couple of innings they have played."
