Brett D'Oliveira and Tom Kohler-Cadmore are on course to score 1,000 County Championship runs in a season for the first time – if they maintain their current form for the rest of the campaign.

D'Oliveira and Kohler-Cadmore have both passed 500 runs as the County reach the half-way stage in their 16 game programme.

The pair have both played seven matches after the wash-out of the opening match against Kent and have an almost identical average.

D'Oliveira has amassed 571 runs at an average of 57.10 with Kohler-Cadmore not far behind on 513 at 57.00.

Joe Clarke (447) and keeper Ben Cox (321) are the other main run-getters but Matt Henry has also showed his worth as an all-rounder with167 runs at 55.67.

Henry also figures prominently in the Worcestershire bowling averages with 19 wickets from five games – and average of 3.8 every match.

He is the second highest wicket-taker behind Joe Leach whose 28 wickets have come in seven appearances – an average of four per game.

Worcestershire return to Championship action tomorrow with a home encounter against Leicestershire.
