Brett D'Oliveira returns to the Worcestershire Rapids squad for tomorrow's Royal London One-Day Cup match with Northamptonshire Steelbacks at New Road (11am start).

The all-rounder has been on England Lions duty for the past week and played in the final two matches against Pakistan 'A' and Sri Lanka 'A' at Canterbury.

The 22-year-old will be on opposite sides to his Lions team-mate Ben Duckett who yesterday smashed 220 not out from 131 balls against Sri Lanka 'A' – the highest ever score by a Lions player.

D'Oliveira is added to the 11 players who were on duty in Sunday's eight wicket defeat by Warwickshire at Edgbaston in the same competition.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Tom Fell, Alexei Kervezee and George Rhodes all played for the Seconds in their 50 over Trophy clash with Lancashire at RGS Worcester on Monday.

Worcestershire are currently lying in sixth spot in the North Group with two wins, two defeats and one no result from their opening five games.

They are one of three teams on five points – including Northants.

Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes believes two victories from the final three matches will put the Rapids in with a strong chance of reaching the quarter-finals.

He said: "I've not fully looked at the points and run-rates but I think if we get two wins out of the three, it will be a good effort and put us in a good position to qualify but we will be going for three (wins)."

Tomorrow's match will bring back happy memories for Joe Leach who picked up a hat-trick with the first three deliveries of last season's corresponding fixture.
