England Women will head to Blackfinch New Road for Sunday’s second Royal London ODI against the West Indies in confident mood after triumphing by 208 runs in the opening game at the Fischer County Ground, Leicester today.

Tickets for Sunday’s 50 over encounter are priced just £10 for adults and £1 for juniors (under-17s).

Supporters will be hoping to witness another run feast at Blackfinch New Road from England.

They amassed 318-9 today thanks largely to the efforts of opener Amy Jones and captain Heather Knight.

The pair came together at 61-2 and put on 146 for the third wicket.

Jones, who won the player of the match award, scored 91 off 99 balls with two sixes and 10 fours.

Knight, who scored a century against Worcestershire Women’s Rapids for Berkshire earlier in the campaign, made a run a ball 94 with 13 fours.

The England bowlers then got to work with Sophie Ecclestone and Laura Marsh both ending with 3-30.

The West Indies were bowled out for 110 in 36 overs with Chedean Nation top-scoring with an undefeated 42.
