The ever popular Worcestershire CCC Ladies Day will be held this summer on Friday, August 7 – the first day of the LV = County Championship match with Nottinghamshire at New Road.
It is the perfect mix of top class cricket, quality food and fashion via the trade stalls that will be on display in the Chestnut Marquee.
Last year 250 people had a day to remember – and already more than 100 tickets have been sold for the 2015 event which is now just under two months away.
Peplows Jewellers are sponsoring the event and some of their top quality merchandise will be on offer at one of the many trade stalls.
There will also be stalls exhibiting a range of clothing and fashion accessories including handbags, nails, hair and many others.
A chilled Raspberry Prosecco Bellini will be served on arrival, followed by a delicious two course buffet lunch and traditional afternoon tea.
Prizes will be presented for the best dressed ladies with two of the Worcestershire CCC players acting as judges.
Worcestershire commercial director, Jon Graham, said: "Ladies Day has been going for eight or nine years and is a massively popular event each year.
"It is probably the biggest social gathering that we do and I haven't found anyone yet who hasn't had a good time.
"It works well that it is on a Friday because most people who work find it easier to get a Friday afternoon off, really start their weekend off in a good way and not have to go to work on the following day.
"It was really successful last year with 250 people and we've got over 100 already for this summer's Ladies Day.
"Peplows Jewellers are the sponsors of the event and will be doing quite a few things on the day.
"We will have loads of various stalls, jewellery, handbags, nails, hair etc. We will do the best dressed competition and a couple of players will come and judge it.
"It really does go down well with people and part of the proceeds will go to Acorns."
Tickets are priced at £49 per guest or tables of 10 are available for £450 (inc VAT)
