Tom Fell will be hoping he can revive Mount Lawley's fortunes after arriving in Australia to play grade cricket for the next three months.
The Worcestershire batsman flew out earlier this week to link up with the Perth based club who compete in the Western Australia Cricket Association first grade.
Mount Lawley are currently lying 14th out of 16 teams in the competition with 12 points from seven games.
This weekend Fell and his team-mates are due to entertain fourth placed Bayswater-Morley on day one of a two day encounter.
International players who have played for Mount Lawley include Chris Matthews, Ashley Mallett, Terry Jenner, Geoff Marsh, Colin Milburn and Dermot Reeve.
Earlier this season they faced Aussie pace bowler Mitchell Johnson who finished with 5-30 after turning out for Wanneroo.
In the same competition, Alex Hepburn's side, Willetton Dragons will be for better luck with the weather when they visit Freemantle for the start of a two-day match.
The final day of last weekend's match with visiting Gosnells plus two T20 matches were washed out.
