It's just four weeks today until Worcestershire Rapids launch their bid for NatWest T20 Blast glory in 2016.

Skipper Daryl Mitchell and his side will take on Durham Jets at New Road on Friday, May 20, starting at 5.30.

They will be bidding to build on their outstanding form of the last two years in reaching the quarter-finals – and seal a finals day spot for the first time.

Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has pulled off a real coup in signing New Zealand World ICC Twenty20 star Mitchell Santner as the Rapids overseas player for 2016.

And Ross Whiteley will be looking to emulate last summer's explosive hitting when he was the joint leading six hitter in the competition with 29 sixes.

Friday night is again T20 night at New Road with five of the seven home games taking place on that day at 5.30pm.

The good news is supporters can watch all the group matches at New Road during the 2016 campaign for just £80 via a T20 Blast season pass.

That works out at less than £12 a match.

So make sure of your pass now by calling the Membership Department on 01905 337921, or visiting the Membership Department in The View or visit www.wccc.co.uk and purchase online.
