Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored a half century on his debut for Penrith Panthers who chased down an imposing 379 target in the Sydney Grade Cricket first grade match with Eastern Suburbs.
The Worcestershire batsman shared in an opening stand of 147 with J. Di Bartolo as the Panthers triumphed by two wickets and claimed six points in the Round Three encounter.
Eastern Suburbs had scored 378-7 declared on the opening day last weekend with Penrith reaching 50-0 by the close.
Kohler-Cadmore scored exactly 50 off 98 balls with nine fours when play resumed on day two before he was trapped lbw, second out at 156 after Di Bartolo (100).
M. Hopkins (93) featured in stands of 89 with J. Sammut (53) and J. Lalor (45) to help Penrith to victory.
George Rhodes was amongst the wickets on his debut for North Canberra Gungahlin but was on the losing side in the ACT Premier Cricket first grade Round Two match away to Weston Creek Molonglo.
The Worcestershire all-rounder was NCG's most successful bowler with 4-53 from his 10 overs and his victims included M. Bennett who top-scored with 88 out of 248-9 in 50 overs.
Rhodes opened the batting for the Northies and was dismissed for nought as the visitors were dismissed for 212 in 46.2 overs.
New Road Academy player Ollie Westbury was again amongst the runs for Hay Park who went down by 21 runs at home to Leschenault in a Bunbury and District Cricket Association first grade Round One match.
Opener Westbury top-scored with 42 from 91 balls with three fours before he was third out at 81. It followed on from his 69 off 65 balls against the same opponents in a T20 match last weekend.
But Hay Park were restricted to 152-7 in their 45 overs.
Westbury had earlier bowled nine overs for 37 runs as Leschenault totalled 173-9 in their 45 overs.
Worcestershire all-rounder Alex Hepburn picked up a wicket for Willetton Dragons but his side were beaten by eight wickets in a Western Australia Cricket Association first grade Round Two match against home side Claremont-Nedlands.
Hepburn registered nought for the second week running batting at number seven as Willetton were restricted to 147-8 in their 50 overs.
He made the initial breakthrough with the ball and finished with 1-25 from six overs as Claremont reached 148-2 in reply.
