Alex Hepburn's side Willetton Dragons came out on top in the Western Australia Cricket Asscociation first grade clash with Worcestershire clubmate Ed Barnard's side Scarborough.
The Dragons were set a 263 target and achieved an eight wicket success with 16 balls to spare against the home side.
Barnard, batting at number five, contributed 30 off 53 balls with two boundaries as Scarborough totalled 262-6 after being put into bat.
An unbeaten 95 from Andrew Rule and 71 from Andrew Tye, who played NatWest T20 Blast cricket for Gloucestershire this summer, helped Scarborough to their final total.
Hepburn bowled six overs at a cost of 47 runs and did not get the chance to bat as an undefeated 115 from Cameron Bancroft ensured Willetton reached their target.
He shared in stands of 110, 83 and an unbroken 73 with Darcy Short, Kris Elliot and James Godfrey.
Barnard shared the new ball and bowled his 10 overs for 60 runs.
Jack Shantry made his debut for Sutherland who amassed 343 all out in 83.1 overs on day one of the New South Wales Premier first grade encounter away to Eastern Suburbs.
Jamie Brown (95 not out) and Tom Doyle (71) were the main contributors with Shantry, who batted at number eight, scoring four off 19 balls.
The Worcestershire paceman shared the new ball, bowling two overs for six runs, as Eastern Suburbs closed on 6-1 from three overs.
In the same competition, Tom Kohler-Cadmore was ruled out of Penrith Panthers away encounter against Many Warringah with a slight injury.
But the County batsman did not miss any action as day one was washed out and he should be back available next weekend.
All-rounder George Rhodes spent the opening day of Tea Tree Gully's South Australian Cricket Association Premier first grade match away to Adelaide in the field.
Adelaide were put in and scored 289-7 from 83 overs thanks mainly to 122 from Ben Pengelley.
Rhodes was restricted to five overs at a cost of 11 runs.
