Joe Leach was delighted after helping North Canberra Gungahlin register a weekend double in the Australian Capital Territory first grade competition.
NCG overcame ANU on Saturday by 108 runs and followed it up 24 hours later with a 109 run success against Eastlake – two games in which Leach contributed fully with bat and ball.
Worcestershire all-rounder Leach, who will be 24 on Thursday, tweeted: "What a weekend for the Northie boys, two bonus points wins."
North Canberra Gungahlin amassed 353 in 49.1 overs against ANU whom they dismissed for 245 in 44 overs.
It was North Canberra's club record score in first grade cricket and the second highest total in a one-day match in ACT history.
Leach scored 41 off 44 balls with four boundaries batting at number four.
He then weighed in with 2-57 from 10 overs after taking the new ball in addition to one catch in a comprehensive victory – and he was also in form against Eastlake.
Leach top-scored with 64 – again at number four – off 92 deliveries with three fours with as his side were again amongst the runs in totalling 295-5 from their 50 overs.
He then picked up three wickets for 51 from 10 overs after taking the new ball as Eastlake were bowled out for 186 in 41.3 overs.
Worcestershire wicket-keeper Joe Clarke was on the winning side for South Perth in a rain affected Western Australian Cricket Association first grade match with Gosnells.
England Under-19 player Clarke made nine and was last out as South Perth totalled 235-8 in their 50 overs.
He then made two catches and was responsible for a run out as Gosnells were restricted to 177-8 from 43.1 overs when the elements intervened.
County colleague Alex Hepburn was dismissed for a duck but his side Willetton Dragons defeated Rockingham-Mandurah in a Western Australian Cricket Association second grade match.
The Dragons were bowled out for 196 in 46.3 overs and then Hepburn came on second changed and returned 1-24 from eight overs as Rockingham were restricted to 129-9.
Ed Barnard also had more joy with the ball than the bat as Queanbeyan were beaten at home by ANU in a Australian Capital Territory first grade encounter.
Barnard came in at number three and did not trouble the scorers as Queanbeyan totalled 234-7 in their 50 overs.
The England Under-19 all-rounder then opened the bowling and dismissed opener A. Stead for 12 with 21 on the board.
But ANU reached their target and won by six wickets with 11 balls to spare.
Barnard finished with figures of 1-27 from 7.1 overs.
