Jack Shantry praised the contribution of the whole bowling unit after his six wicket haul against Surrey in the LV = County Championship clash at The Kia Oval.
Shantry took his championship wicket total for the camaign to 26 with figures of 6-53 from 25.5 overs as the home side were forced to follow on 270 behind and reached 111-3 in their second innings.
His haul included a devastating spell of four wickets in just 11 balls.
But the left arm paceman was quick to hand out the plaudits to his bowling colleagues after Worcestershire had collected maximum bowling points for the seventh successive match.
Shantry told BBC Hereford-Worcester's Dave Bradley: "It went well and it was nice to pick up a few wickets and help the team cause.
"It was orthodox swing and nice to pick up the wickets on a pitch which offered not that much for the seamers, just a little bit of pace and bounce.
"As for the clutter of wickets, that's the way it goes in cricket. You've got to hang in there.
"You need to stick to your areas, stick to your disciplines, go at two an over and when you get one wicket, go two, three, four and then the opposition aren' in a great position.
"That is what we try and do as a unit."
Shantry was quick to praise his fellow bowlers and the part they have played to promotion-chasing Worcestershire's flying start to 2014.
He said: "Everyone has been fantastic, Joe Leach, Charlie Morris, Gareth Andrew when he was playing earlier in the season and Saeed (Ajmal) will turn it off anything.
"It is hard to see who we are going to drop to be honest when Gaz comes back in.
"Everyone has bowled fantastically well this season and long may it continue."
