Kohler-Cadmore Hits Century For Seconds At Chester Road

Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored a century for Worcestershire Seconds on the opening day of the four-day clash with Middlesex Seconds at Chester Road, Kidderminster today.

Kohler-Cadmore hit 102 off 204 balls with one six and 18 fours and held the Seconds innings together after they lost early wckets.

The 22-year-old, who is currently not part of Worcestershire's Specsavers County Championship side, lost opening partner Ollie Westbury (4) – caught behind – and Alexei Kervezee (0), who dragged on a delivery, with only eight runs on the board.

The Seconds were 62-4 after electing to bat before launching a recovery to 297 all out in 92.2 overs.

Kohler-Cadmore was given good support by keeper Alex Milton (34) in a fifth wicket stand of 86 in 30 overs before the latter fell to a good diving catch at mid off.

Josh Dell (45) added 56 for the sixth wicket with Kohler-Cadmore who was eventually sixth out at 204 when edging England Under-19 captain Max Holden to first slip.

Dell was joined by Ben Twohig (45) in a 56 run partnership for the seventh wicket.

The former was dismissed just before the second new ball was due as the last four wickets went down for 37 runs.

Middlesex openers Cameron Steel and Holden survived an over apiece from Charlie Morris and George Scrimshaw in reaching 1-0 by the close.
