Kohler-Cadmore To Skipper Seconds In Derby Clash

Kohler-Cadmore To Skipper Seconds In Derby Clash

Tom Kohler-Cadmore will captain Worcestershire Seconds when they take on their Warwickshire counterparts in a Second Eleven Trophy match at Olton and West Warwicks CC, Solihull tomorrow (Tuesday).

It will be the first time that the 20-year-old, a regular and key member of the county's successful NatWest T20 Blast side this season, has skippered the Seconds.

Kohler-Cadmore will lead the side after spinner Shaaiq Choudhry suffered a side injury during the Second Eleven Championship match with Lancashire at Southport last week.

Alexei Kervezee has also had a spell in charge of the team in recent weeks.

The Seconds collected five points from their opening three games in the 50 over competition via wins over Unicorns and Leicestershire and a wash-out versus Durham.

But they have been beaten in their last two matches against Derbyshire and Lancashire who both fielded strong line-ups.
