Joe Leach's superb contribution with bat and ball is reflected in the latest Professional Cricketers' Association Most Valuable Player rankings for 2015.

The Worcestershire all-rounder is currently lying in second spot – just two points behind Durham's Chris Rushworth.

The MVP incorporates all facets of the game including batting, bowling, fielding and captaincy.

Leach has taken 44 wickets in eight LV = County Championship matches and also scored 370 runs at an average of 41.11.

His Worcestershire team-mate Jack Shantry's excellent season is also highlighted in the MVP rankings.

He is currently lying fifth after taking 44 Championship wickets in 10 innings and scoring 155 runs at an average of 12.92.

In the MVP for the NatWest T20 Blast, Worcestershire skipper Daryl Mitchell is currently occuping ninth spot after another fine season.

Mitchell has topped the 300 run mark already for the second successive season.
