Moeen Third Highest Wicket-Taker For England In Test Series Triumph

Moeen Ali is England's third leading wicket-taker heading into the final match of the triumphant Test series in South Africa.

The Worcestershire all-rounder has picked up eight wickets from the opening three Tests.

Seven of these came in the first Test success in Durban when Moeen was chosen as man of the match.

Moeen has now taken 62 wickets in 22 Tests since making his debut against Sri Lanka at Lord's 20 months ago.

On the batting front Moeen has reverted back to the number eight slot after an unsuccessful stint as opener against Pakistan in the UAE.

The 28-year-old has made 45 runs in the series with a highest score of 19 – but played an important role with the bat in Cape Town.

His unbeaten 10 off 60 balls and an unbroken partnership of 43 with Jonny Bairstow for the seventh wicket denied South Africa's victory push on the final day of the Second Test in Cape Town.
