Worcestershire have just over 1,000 tickets left unsold for their NatWest T20 Blast quarter-final with Hampshire at New Road on August 14.

Ticketing and Membership manager Amy Francetti said the number of tickets sold had doubled in the last 24 hours.

Tickets went on sale yesterday (Friday) to the general public after Worcs CCC members had priority for the previous four days.

The offices at New Road will be closed today (Saturday) but tickets can still be purchased on-line before the offices reopen tomorrow (Sunday) at 9am.

Francetti said: "We had a good day of sales on Friday and doubled the number of tickets sold in the space of 24 hours.

"We have just over 1,000 tickets left for general admission and there is a great buzz amongst members and supporters looking forward to our first home quarter-final which is now just two weeks away.

"The offices will be closed at New Road on Saturday, although you can still buy tickets on-line, but they will reopen on Sunday at 9am – if there are any tickets left."

Members and T20 season pass holders can buy tickets for themselves at a discount price of £15 (£5 junior members) and also purchase up to another three tickets at a non discount price of £20 (£10 for juniors).

The general public are able to buy up to four tickets priced £20 each (£10 for juniors).
