Pca Statement On Death Of Tom Allin

Jason Ratcliffe, Assistant Chief Executive of the Professional Cricketers’ Association, said of the death of former Warwickshire seamer Tom Allin:

“We are saddened to learn of Tom Allin’s death. He was a popular member of the playing staff at Warwickshire for six seasons and a valued member of the PCA.

“Our condolences go to Tom’s family, particularly his father Tony who is also a PCA member from his own playing career with Glamorgan in 1976.

“We also extend our sympathy to North Devon Cricket Club, Tom’s home club. We have a close association with North Devon who hosted a fund-raising dinner for the PCA Benevolent Fund and Tom Maynard Trust during Big Bike Ride 2 in October.

“Our thoughts and sympathy are with all who knew or played alongside Tom Allin. “The PCA will offer support to Tom’s family and former team mates at this difficult time.”
