Phil Neale Is Guest Speaker At Cricket Society End Of Season Lunch

Former Worcestershire skipper Phil Neale will be the guest speaker of the Worcestershire Cricket Society at their end of season lunch in The View on Sunday, October 8.

Phil skippered the County through their second ‘Golden Age’ in which they lifted seven trophies in five years from 1987 to 1991.

He scored 17,445 and 7,253 List A runs in addition to playing professional football for Lincoln City and since 1999 has been the England cricket team’s Team Operations Manager.

Cricket Society president, The Reverend Mike Vockins, who worked closely with Phil when secretary of Worcestershire CCC, will be asking the questions.

The Society will be holding a raffle at the lunch – tickets priced £1 each – and new committee member John Meredith has organised a host of attractive prizes.
