Worcestershire v Gloucestershire Royal London One-Day Cup
New Road, the home of Worcestershire County Cricket Club, will hold a President’s Charity Day on Wednesday 13th August, on behalf our President, Mr John Elliott.
In his final year as President, John would like to end his tenure by helping a local charity, St Richard’s Hospice. St Richard’s Hospice cares for patients and families in Worcestershire who are living with life-threatening illnesses. Each year they give free care and support to around 2,400 patients and their families – helping them towards the best quality of life possible.
The charity is close to John’s heart, having had close friends and family members helped by their services, and with good friend Graham Robertson, a Life Member of the Club, they together would like to organise a wonderful day for members and friends to enjoy.
Your afternoon of hospitality will include admission, a buffet lunch, followed by afternoon tea, all held in our beautiful Chestnut Marquee.
Price per person is £45.00 per person, proceeds to St. Richard’s Hospice, with a £5 concession for Worcestershire County Cricket Club members.
