Rapids T20 Blast Derby With The Bears Is A Sell-Out

Rapids T20 Blast Derby With The Bears Is A Sell-Out

Worcestershire Rapids NatWest T20 Blast home meeting with Birmingham Bears on July 15 is now officially SOLD OUT.

The few remaining tickets have been snapped up by supporters for the eagerly awaited return derby clash.

The Rapids overcame their local rivals at Edgbaston in May and are in contention to clinch a fourth quarter-final spot in five years.

But before then is another crucial game this Friday at New Road against holders Lancashire Lightning – and tickets are also selling fast for that clash.

Worcestershire General Manager Jon Graham said: "The Birmingham game has sold out. We tend to sell out most years but it is really encouraging and it just makes the ticket for Friday's game (against Lancashire) even more valuable.

"If you want any T20 cricket , and you haven't got a ticket for the Bears game, it's the last chance.

"The fact the Bears match is the last home game of the series, and with us being in the mix to go through, means there could be added ingredient to it.

"For that game, we could probably sell double the amount of tickets and literally everything has gone in terms of hospitality in all the areas."

Graham added: "It is encouraging. In general, tickets sales have been very good.

"The YELL4FELL game (versus Derbyshire Falcons) went very well and I think the Lancashire game will not be far off a sell-out by the time it comes around.

"Again I think it will be another record year on T20 sales so it is all good."
