new worcestershire ceo matt rawnsley will stage his first members forum in the graeme hick pavilion on friday before start of play in the specsavers county championship match with nottinghamshire at New Road.
rawnsley will be available to answer questions from members from 9.30am onwards for approximately an hour.
it is a commitment he intends to keep whenever possible on the first morning of every home championship match this summer.
rawnsley said: “i said at the annual general meeting that i would endeavour to stage a forum with members on the first morning of home championship games.
“i am available to answer members questions to the best of my ability and intend to be as transparent as possible on any given issue.
“as i’ve said already, i will listen to everything members have got to say.
“i might not always agree with them and might not always be able to implement what they want – but i will listen.
“of course, there may be an occasion when other commitments involved with being worcestershire ceo means i won’t be available on a first, morning of a game – like ecb meetings at lord’s.
“but the plan is to stage the members forums on the first morning of every championship game and i look forward to them and hearing members comments and questions.”
