Alan Richardson has been nominated for the PCA Player of the Year Award. The paceman has been included in the shortlist of players, which is to be decided on Thursday 22nd September.

Richardson has been nominated by his peers, who praised the 73 wickets he took in helping Worcestershire CCC to maintain their Division One status.

Richardson faces stiff opposition from; Dale Benkenstein, David Masters, and Marcus Trescothick.
