Seconds Return To Trophy Action At Flagge Meadow

Seconds Return To Trophy Action At Flagge Meadow

Worcestershire Seconds will look to continue their impressive start in the Second Eleven Trophy when they take on Derbyshire Seconds at Flagge Meadow today (Thursday).

Coach Kevin Sharp's side have taken five points from their opening three matches via wins over Unicorns and Nottinghamshire and an abandoned game with Durham.

Worcestershire have named the same squad which did battle with Derbyshire in the Second Eleven Championship on the same ground this week.

Derbyshire won that rain affected encounter by six wickets.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Ed Barnard – regular members of the Rapids side which have reached the quarter-finals of the NatWest T20 Blast – are included in the Worcestershire squad.

The 50 overs a side contest gets underway at 11am.
