Jack Shantry has followed up his maiden century for Worcestershire in the promotion-clinching win over Surrey in the LV = County Championship last month with some impressive performances with the bat for Greenvale Kangaroos in Australia.
His county team-mate and wicket-keeper Ben Cox heads the Greenvale averages after four matches with 212 runs at at average of 106.
But paceman Shantry is in third spot with 119 runs from four knocks at an average of 59.50 including a highest score of 48 against Prahran.
He has been batting in the top six for the Kangaroos.
Shantry, who last week signed a new three year contract with Worcestershire, scored 481 runs batting at number nine in addition to picking up 56 wickets in Worcestershire's promotion campaign.
Cox has clocked up impressive scores of 93 not out against Hawthorn-Monarch University, 57 against Melbourne and 56 not out against Casey-South Melbourne.
On the bowling front Shantry has picked up the two wickets from his four 50 over games to date but has been economical and conceded only 3.53 runs per over – the best rate of the Greenvale attack.
