Worcestershire Rapids will give fitness tests to skipper Daryl Mitchell and paceman Matt Henry ahead of tomorrow's Royal London One-Day Cup clash with Leicestershire Foxes at New Road (11am start).
Mitchell and Henry have been named in a 13 man squad for the 50 over encounter by Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes.
Opening batsman Mitchell picked up a rib injury in the nets ahead of Friday's NatWest T20 Blast game with Northamptonshire Steelbacks and missed that match and Sunday's One-Day Cup meeting with Durham Jets.
Henry was ruled out of the same two games plus the One-Day Cup win away to Yorkshire Vikings with a similar sort of injury.
The duo are added to the 11 players who featured in the seven wicket success over the Jets at the Emirates ICG on Sunday.
Rhodes said: "Mitch and Matt are in the squad, they will both be fitness tested tomorrow and hopefully they will come through that."
Vice-captain Joe Leach has captained the side for the past two matches – his first taste of leading the side at senior level.
The Rapids are looking for a fourth successive win in white ball cricket.
They are top of the North Group in the T20 Blast and also well placed in the One-Day Cup with two wins from three matches.
Rhodes said: "The three consecutive wins has been a real special effort from the boys. They have all worked hard for those victories
"My job is to pick them up when things aren't so good and also to try and make sure the feet are firmly on the ground because Leicestershire will come here full of confidence, full of desire to win a game of cricket.
"We've no right to win a game of cricket, we've got to earn it, work hard in the game and try and beat them fair and square and keep the winning run going.
"I don't try and get carried away with tables – I never have done. I know in cricket, as in any sport, if you win the game you are about to play, then the tables take care of themselves."
