Skipper Daryl Mitchell is Worcestershire Rapids leading run-scorer and also top of the batting averages at the half-way stage of their North Group programme.
The 31-year-old has scored three half centuries in his seven knocks to date and amassed 290 runs at an average of 48.33 ahead of tonight's home clash with Northamptonshire Steelbacks (5.30pm start).
Mitchell is continuing his form of last summer when he was the Rapids top run-getter in their march to the quarter-finals.
Not far behind him is Moeen Ali who has been a welcome addition to the Rapids squad after being released by England to prepare for the Ashes.
Moeen has amassed 238 runs from five innings, including two half centuries, at an average of 47.60.
On the bowling front spinner Saeed Ajmal is top of the averages and joint leading wicket-taker with Jack Shantry.
Ajmal has collected nine wickets from his five appearances at an average of 16.78 runs apiece.
