Summer Camps At New Road

Summer Camps At New Road

Undecided on plans for your kids this summer? Think no more!

Cricket has never been more fun with Worcestershire Cricket hosting two Rapids holiday Cricket Camps during the summer at New Road.

The first camp will be held from July 24-28 onwards while the second is scheduled for August 7-11.

The camps, open for kids aged 7-13, will run from 9am to 3pm and includes an early drop off/ late pick up service.

The kids will be under the guidance of our well-qualified coaching team and all participants will receive a camps t-shirt.

The camp will include fun games, emphasis on batting, bowling and fielding, a tour around New Road, interaction with Rapids players based on their availability and a certificate for the best participant each day.

Tracksuits and whites can be worn to the camp and while all equipment will be provided, children are allowed to bring their own.

One day ticket is priced at £25 and a weekly ticket can be booked for £100.

Meanwhile, Cookhill Cricket Club and Halesowen Cricket Club will be hosting two Worcestershire Cricket run Rapids Countywide Camps.

The three day Cookhill Camp will commence on July 24 while Halesowen three day camp starts on July 26.

One day ticket can be purchased for £25 and a weekly ticket for £50.

For the first time ever, there will also be a Rapids Girls Only two day camp starting on August 21. The age range for this camp will 7-16.

This is after the success Worcestershire Cricket had during the May Half Term Camp where over 50 kids turned up for Charlotte Edwards headlined day.
