Supporters’ Association Launch New 2017 Raffle Competition

Worcestershire Supporters' Association are launching a new raffle competition at the start of the 2017 campaign.

Committee member Dave Kennedy is at the helm of the project which will have three excellent prizes for the winner.

Tickets cost £5 each and will be able to purchased from the Association shop at the back of the Basil D'Oliveira Stand on match days.

The prize for the lucky person whose ticket is drawn out is:

A) Two tickets for the 2018 Worcestershire CCC chairman's lunch

B) A picture taken with the 2018 Worcestershire CCC squad on media day

C) A 2018 Worcestershire CCC Club Membership.

All profits from the raffle will go towards the Association's ground improvement fund.

Association chairman Andrew Jenkins: "We already have the ever popular Fifty-Fifty competition and we felt this was another way of raising funds which ultimately will be used to good effect with the cricket club.

"Dave does an excellent job with the Fifty-Fifty after taking over from Ken Mills and has also taken on the responsible of organising the new competition.

"It will be based at the Association shop to start to begin with but we also hope to find other outlets around the ground to sell tickets."

Meanwhile Andrew Jenkins reports that the Fifty-Fifty competition has already attracted 450 members for 2017 and is on course to surpass last season's record haul of 813.

Anyone wanting to join can do so by downloading the membership form on the Worcestershire CCC club website or by contacting Dave Kennedy c-o Worcestershire CCC, New Road, Worcester WR2 4QQ

The £20 membership fee covers four draws throughout the summer at which prizes range from £50 to £500.
