Supporters’ Association Stage Fifty-Fifty Draws For Ground Improvement Fund

Worcestershire Supporters' Association are again staging their popular Fifty-Fifty competition during the 2015 season.

There will be four draws made on June 28, July 26, August 23 and September 20 with prizes ranging from £500 to £50 for each draw.

The draw already has attracted 440 members for 2015. It costs £20 to enter with profits from this competition going to the Ground Improvement Fund.

Supporters Association chairman Ken Mills said: "The 50-50 continues to flourish. We had a record in 2012 of over 800 members. This year so far we are up to 440.

"We are hoping this year we can beat the record of 2012 as a tribute to Pat Mills who passed away in April 2014 after being honorary secretary for 40 years."

Application forms are available from Ken Mills c-o the County Ground, New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ.

Anyone wanting to enter the competition should make cheques payable to the Worcestershire County Cricket Supporters' Association (WCCSA).

The Supporters' Association are to stage a trio of luncheons in the Marquee at New Road this summer.

The luncheons have become a popular occasion with members and their guests during the past few seasons.

This season the Marquee is booked for the first day of the Warwickshire LV = County Championship match on June 14, for the England Women v Australia ODI on July 26 and the second day of the Sussex Championship game on September 2.

It is also intended to hold another Christmas Luncheon in the Graeme Hick Pavilion after the success of the 2014 Luncheon which attracted 140 members.
