Tables Still Available For 2018 County Memorabilia Day

Tables Still Available For 2018 County Memorabilia Day

worcestershire ccc will stage their annual memorabilia day in the mcminn developments marquee on saturday, may 12 from 10am to 5pm.

the market will take place on the second day of the specsavers county championship division one clash with reigning champions essex at New Road.

it is taking place earlier than normal in the season and in 2017 was held on the august bank holiday monday and there will be free admission to the marquee (after paying ground admission).

there are still some tables available and it costs just £20 to hire a table for the day (further details from richard brown – chairman of the cricket memorabilia society – on 07958 747410 or rbrown@theurswickschool.co.uk).

the event has become a feature of the summer with many collectors of cricket memorabilia and is an ideal opportunity to either sell unwanted items or to add to your own collection.

many collectables have related to worcestershire cricket, including county yearbooks, and autographs will be on sale, together with a wide range of other cricketing items to suit all tastes and every pocket.

a new feature this year will be the opportunity to bring along to the market a couple of items – before 11am – which the heritage group will sell on your behalf.

twenty per cent of the sale price will go to the heritage fund and the rest to the seller (no unsigned books or back issues of magazines).

if you are unsure of how much an item should be priced at then advice is available from richard brown and other experts who will be at the market.
