the pavilion will be open from 10.30am and will serve tea, coffee and alcohol with food available to purchase from foley’s until 4.30pm

admission to all followers of the rapids, who will be appearing in their first finals day, is free of charge.

worcestershire managing director jon graham said: “in the members forum before the hampshire game, matt rawnsley (ceo) received a lot of inquiries about whether we would show blast finals day on the big screen at New Road.

“we are not going to be showing it on a scoreboard, for lots of reasons with weather potentially being a big challenge, but we are going to be showing it in the graeme hick pavilion on all the screens in there.

“it will be open from 10.30am – half an hour before the rapids semi-final against lancashire lightning.

“the bar will be open for teas, coffees and alcoholic drinks and, if people want to eat, then foley’s will be open as well.

“if worcestershire qualify for the final, the hick pavilion will be open for the duration, alternatively we will judge on the day when to close the bar”.

“it’s well documented the ticket allocation was significantly lower than expected but we wanted to give an opportunity for members and supporters to come and watch the rapids on screens inside the ground.”
