Wccc Hoping To Enjoy Long And Fruitful Partnership With Blackfinch Investments

Worcestershire CCC are hoping to enjoy a long and fruitful relationship with Blackfinch Investments who have been the County's Official Shirt Sleeve Sponsor across all formats for the 2016 campaign.

Blackfinch Investments – based in Blackfinch House, Chequers Close, Malvern – is an established UK provider of tax-efficient investment solutions.

Their philosophy is based on transparency and simplicity and whose services provide real solutions to real financial planning challenges faced by individuals today.

Blackfinch Investments were one of the finalists in the Best BPR Investment Manager category at the 2015 Growth Investor Awards.

Their brand is evident on the shirt sleeves of skipper Daryl Mitchell and the other Worcestershire players in the Specsavers County Championship, Royal London One-Day Cup and NatWest T20 Blast and has received live television exposure in several matches this summer.

But in addition, Blackfinch enjoy plenty of in-ground branding at New Road and often entertain clients via their Worcestershire CCC membership & hospitality packages.

Richard Cook has been Chief Executive Officer since 2009 and has been involved in the structuring and management of tax-efficient investment assets for over 11 years.

He has overseen the growth and expansion of the company within the UK retail market and has evolved the company to where it is today.

Worcestershire Sales Executive, Paul Biggerstaff, said: “Our partnership with Blackfinch began this year, though Richard (Cook) has been involved with the Club in the past.

"I know Richard is a big cricket fan and it’s always great to see sponsors enjoying cricket at New Road.

"Blackfinch have shown great support for the Club in 2016 and I hope it is the start of a long relationship which develops over the coming years.”

Richard Cook said: "We decided to form a partnership with Worcestershire CCC because they are local to the company’s headquarters and we wanted to raise the profile of Blackfinch locally and nationally.

"The benefits of such a partnership are TV exposure, local brand awareness for potential customers and also to increase exposure to regional companies who may wish to engage with Blackfinch as a funding partner.”

“We have benefitted from the exposure via the shirt sleeve sponsorship and this was one of the things we wanted to achieve when we formed the partnership with the cricket club.

“Blackfinch hopes to continue the partnership and develop on the work we have done this year.

“The directors of Blackfinch are keen cricket fans and have supported the Cricket Club since a young age.

"We also have ties to the national team, both being Associate members of the MCC.”
