WOMEN’S RAPIDS BATTLING TO STAY UP IN T20 DOUBLE HEADER AT HIMLEY

Worcestershire Women’s Rapids will be battling to hold onto their Division Two status in the Vitality Women’s County T20 today (Sunday) at Himley Cricket Club.

The Rapids are currently seventh spot in the nine team table with 10 points from their opening six matches.

They have won two, lost two and had two wash-outs from their opening six games in the competition.

Today they take on Somerset at 10.30am and then face Derbyshire at 4.30pm.

Cricket Scotland are the Rapids main rivals in the fight to stay up.

They are also on 10 points from six games but have a superior run rate and today face Yorkshire and then Durham at Harrogate.

The top two are promoted to Division One and the bottom three drop into Division Three.
