Worcestershire Women’s Rapids are in action at Blackfinch New Road on Sunday (June 2) with all to play for in their final ECB County Championship match against Essex.

The Rapids have won their last two matches against Cricket Wales and Somerset Women in impressive style to give themselves a lifeline in the battle to stay in Division Two.

A haul of 34 points from those two matches means they have climbed off the bottom of the table.

The Rapids are now only one point adrift of third from bottom Somerset in the battle to climb out of the bottom two.

Now they are aiming for victory against third placed Essex at the County’s headquarters.

Play gets underway at 11am and admission is free.
