Worcestershire County Cricket Club is excited to announce details of the latest event in its 2018 corporate calendar as the Club’s annual golf day is now confirmed to take place at Gaudet Luce Golf Club on Wednesday 15th August 2018.

The Award Winning Gaudet Luce offers some of the best Golf in Worcestershire with The Phoenix Course at Gaudet Luce featuring contrasting loops of holes in one of the most pictueresque locations in the County. The much anticipated event takes place just under a month after the prestigous William Hunt Trilby Tour 2018, the UK’s largest amateur golf tournament.

Tea, coffee and bacon rolls will be served in the clubhouse on arrival before action commences with a shotgun start at 1.30pm and the afternoon’s play will be followed by a delicious three-course dinner in the clubhouse, with a raffle taking place on the evening at which host Dave Bradley will be on hand to present prizes to the day’s winners.

A team of four costs just £295 plus VAT,  but if you’re struggling to scramble together enough players for a fourball then worry not, as a number of the Worcestershire CCC players will be available to play on the day if required.

To book your team’s place or to discuss sponsorship opportunities, please contact Jamie Miles on 07792 626360 / 01905 337940 or at jamie.miles@wccc.co.uk for more.

Gaudet Luce

Offering two golf courses and a putting green, Gaudet Luce caters for both the experienced golfer or beginner. The facilities available include foot golf, driving range and bar & restaurant.

The Phoenix course has two contrasting loops of holes. The front 9 is tight and requires thought and careful club selection in particular the long 9th with its tight out-of-bounds down the right hand side. In contrast the back 9 is more open and is longer with a network of water features.

The 12th is generally considered to be one of the finest Par 3s in Worcestershire – fairly long and with the green well guarded by water.
