In the 2nd XI friendly match between Worcestershire and Hampshire at Ombersley, Hampshire won the toss and elected to bat.

The visitors amassed 469 all out with Ravenscroft top scoring on 115, Steele was unfortunately dismissed on 97, and ex-Worcestershire player Khalid was not out for 57.

Notable performances with the ball came from Alex Blofield and Chris Russell who took 5 for 70 and 2 for 54 respectively.
